Hearing Awareness Week

Last week Kindergarten celebrated Hearing Awareness Week. We had a special visit from Mrs McAndrew and she taught us all about how the ear works and what it is like for people who are deaf. We even got to try out hearing aids. How cool is that? Everyone made their own special headband that said "I'm a fantastic listener" to take home. We learnt a lot of new things about the ear and how to take care of our hearing. Thanks Mrs McAndrew, it was great fun!

Kindergarten, Year 5 are also learning about how hearing aides can help people communicate. Can we come to visit Kindergarten so you can tell us about all the things you already know? Mrs Di Stefano
